Lean Change Element
Diffusion
When change is co-created, it spreads organically like dropping coloured dye into water.

Diffusion vs traditional thinking
Two different assumptions about how change should work.
Lean Change
Change happens organically and spreads socially like adding coloured dye to water.
Traditional Change Management
Change must be rolled out in a structured way to be successful.
Jerry Weinberg wrote about Diffusion in his Quality Software Management series and also in the fantastic 2011 book, Becoming a Change Artist.
Diffusion follows the social structure in organizations. It might seem like it's unstructured and chaotic because it isn't follow a prescribed method, but it will spread based on influence.
