Lean Change Element

Approach to Change

We balance a push-and-pull approach to change based on the context we find ourselves in.

Approach to Change

Approach to Change vs traditional thinking

Two different assumptions about how change should work.

Lean Change

Change management is a service function, not a controlling one. We adapt our approach to change based on context.

Traditional Change Management

Change is dictated by the schedule we create. We follow best practice project management to ensure successful change.

The approach you take to change depends on a bunch of factors. Your personality, your stance, the context, and the organization's culture all play a role in how change happens.

We believe that your attitude and mindset is the most important factor. It's easy to get locked into a feeling of obligation when you get assigned to a change project, but it doesn't mean you need to apply newtonian force to make change happen.
