Qualifications & process
Must-have skills & experience
- 5+ years of running experiential training. We offer slides as reference material — our trainers do not read slides to people.
- Experience working as a change agent. A large part of our training is the experience and stories our facilitators bring to the table.
Recommended skills & experience
- Training from the Back of the Room. Our courseware is built in the 4 C's — ideally you've taken the course or applied the techniques.
- Lean and agile experience. Our material is based on agile, lean startup, and design thinking principles.
How the process works
Attend a course
Lean Change Management Foundations or a Train the Trainer session hosted by Jason Little. Declare your intention — we'll spend extra time with you on the materials.
Complete your audition
A 15-minute session where you showcase your facilitation skills.
Submit your application
Fill out the application. All applications are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Enterprise Solution Partners don't require an audition — we run a scoping call instead.

FAQs
What currency are your fees in?+
Our pricing is in CAD (Canadian Dollars), except for the ICAgile add-ons — those interested in offering our ICAgile courses will need to go through their authorization program as well.
What other fees exist?+
None. The fees listed here are the only fees we have. Also, once you're signed up, your fees never increase.
Can I start off paying monthly?+
New facilitators are required to pay the first year license in advance. After the first year, you may switch to monthly or quarterly billing.
Can I register a company in a low-GDP country, get a license, and train anywhere I want?+
That sounds pretty shady. We base your regional fee on where your company is located.
What's the difference between a Training Partner and a Solution Partner?+
Training = you deliver Lean Change workshops under license. Solution = you embed Lean Change IP and methodology into your consulting work without running public workshops. Full Partner = both.
I'm already a licensed facilitator. What changes for me?+
Existing facilitators become Independent Training Partners. Pricing, regional tiers, and per-cert fees stay intact. The "partner" rebrand doesn't force anything — it just opens the door to adding a Solution tier or upgrading to Full Partner if that fits where your business is going.
Why partner with Lean Change instead of getting Prosci or ACMP certified?+
Lean Change is a methodology license, not a personal credential. Prosci and ACMP certify you; Lean Change licenses the IP so you can build a practice on it. Different product, different customer.
Can I start small and upgrade later?+
Yes. Independent → Small Firm → Enterprise is a supported path. Training-only → Full Partner is a supported path. You don't need to know your final destination to get started.
What does the Solution Partner IP actually include?+
Books, element library, Lean Change OS access, slide decks, case study templates, and — for content pack add-ons — the right to localize and embed Lean Change concepts in internal tools.
