BIG View
The BIG view is your strategic view. It will evolve over time, but it sets the direction for what to do NEXT and NOW.

BIG View vs traditional thinking
Two different assumptions about how change should work.
Lean Change
Vision and strategy are important, but how people feel about where we're headed is more important. We should have a strong purpose that helps us course correct over time.
Traditional Change Management
A vision and strategy must come first. It must be completed and communicated clearly to all stakeholders and people through carefully crafted messaging.
The BIG view is the arc of your change story. That might mean the 'big picture' of a transformation, or a 3-year modernization program.
Either way, traditional thinking says to create a strategy, sell it, and execute on it but the real world doesn't work that way. xAs you move through the journey of the change, things change. The magic is keeping the dissonance between the BIG, NEXT, and NOW views linked and in sync.
