Lean Change Element

Leadership Styles

There is no "right" leadership style. The key is diversity. The difference in perspective between leaders who think differently creates positive tension.

Leadership Styles

Leadership Styles vs traditional thinking

Two different assumptions about how change should work.

Lean Change

We believe diversity in thought, traits and temperaments is what makes a leadership team great.

Traditional Change Management

Some leaders have the right mindset, but that can't be changed.

We believe it's the combination and diversity of leadership styles people in the organization have that matter. Context matters and one style isn't better than another style.

It's possible a certain style is better for a certain context but let's not assume there is one leadership style that always works. Great leaders know how to adapt their stance given the context. We use a variety of leadership models to help people make sense of what their collective leadership is and how to magnify the bright spots, or fill in what might be missing.
