Diagnostics
We have the right leading indicators that help shape our future experiments and direction

Diagnostics vs traditional thinking
Two different assumptions about how change should work.
Lean Change
Diagnostics help us validate we're headed in the right direction. Fuzzy metrics and anecdotal evidence is useful.
Traditional Change Management
All metrics should qualifiable. Stories and 'gut feel' are not valid change measurements.
Diagnostics are leading indicators. At the beginning of any change it's impossible to know exactly what success measurements should look like so diagnostics give us the ability to get early feedback telling us we're headed in the right direction.
A good question to ask for creating diagnostics for your change canvas is: What evidence do we need to see that will tell us we're heading in the right direction?
